The Tintinara War Memorial Hall was full with close to 300 people attending the Anzac Day service.

The local service has been hosted by the Local Churches as the Tintinara RSL sub branch closed as their membership started to decline over the years.

A Special Thanks must go to Jo and Neil McKenzie who ensure the order of service was correct.

Pastor Karen Filmer from the Tintinara Uniting Church delivered a lovely reading !

Becker Tce was closed and the first ever ANZAC march started at the Tintinara Memorial Hall and proceeded to the east end of the Street to the new Memorail site!

The procession was Lead by

Andrew Makin, Lomond Luhrs, and Craig Dunbar 

Special Visitors to Tintinara for this occasion made up the procession.

Vietnam Veterans from the 6th Battalion Royal Australian Regiment.

Tintinara locals sent them parcels whilst they where in Vietnam.

Their gratitude to our local community has seen our special visitors coming from all over Australia to attend the opening of the new Tintinara War and Services Memorial.
