Karen and Dino

It was my absolute pleasure to meet couple who were married on the 15th of May 2010 (the Bride's birthday)and capture their special moment.

I loved the location of their wedding at the Rainforest Retreat at Murray Bridge. I watched and captured two cultures joining, and mixing as one. The highlight was when the bride and groom where announced at the wedding reception it was done in both English and Italian.

I really enjoyed the whole wedding ceremony and photo shoot and wish the couple a future together. I have asked them if I can share their veryu romantic love story, below.

With love Deanna

Karen and Dino's love story

We met at my work, Dino was working as a contractor and we gradually go to know each other over about 3 years. We don't have a set date as to when we officially got together, we just sort of happened. We got engaged on the 3rd of March 2010 and decided to get married on the 15th of May 2010. Which meant the pressure was on.

I wore a white gown from the Bridal House on Pulteney, the bridesmaids wore dressed bought at Murray Bridge. We all carried orchids in our bouquets made by the Florist in Bridge st at Murray Bridge. Our hair was done by Bowdids Hair Studio Tailem Bend. The Groomsmen Hired their suits from Grandisons at Murray Bridge.

We got married at the Rainforest Retreat River Glades (near Murray Bridge) in a beautiful garden ceremony conducted by the Rev Ernest Sorenson (my brother in law), Minister of the Murray Bridge Uniting Church. The music at the ceremony was played by family members; Peta, Leanne, and Joshua.

Our photos were taken at locations around Murray Bridge including the Round House and old ruins that Dino found.

The reception was held at the Italian Club, Murray Bridge, the tables and table clothes hired from Knights Party Hirer. We had a live band as entertainment called Black Hats. The tables where decorated with helium balloons and candles.

For our wedding night we stayed at Brooklands Heritage B&B in Port Elliott, a beautiful setting on a hill overlooking the coastline. (We highly recommend them.)

PS Karen forgot to mention the cars; Monaros and a Torana SLR. It was a sight to see them out and in full glory, considering they are two of my favourite cars. xxx Deanna
